2023 UNSW Ageing Futures Institute Research Symposium

In this half-day event, we discuss future opportunities for members including research and Institute-led initiatives in 2024 onwards.

Join us for a insightful discussions about ageing research in the current national and international context, as well as future opportunities for the Institute and members including potential research projects and initiatives in 2024 onwards. A full program will be released prior to the event, however we are excited to announce the following confirmed speakers:

  • Keynote by internationally renowned ageing researcher Professor Kenneth Langa (University of Michigan) who is undertaking his sabbatical with the Institute.
  • A representative from Treasury, Patrick Fazzone (Director, Macro Budget Analysis Unit, Budget Policy Division) who will speak to the 2023 Intergenerational Report.

This is also a fantastic opportunity to catch up and re-connect with fellow Institute researchers ahead of our next annual Seed Grant round.

Catering (morning tea and lunch) will be provided so registrations are essential.
