UNSW AI Institute is a new flagship University-wide research institute that supports the activities of over 300 UNSW academics working in artificial intelligence (AI), data science(DS), and machine learning(ML) or applying them in their respective domains.

The Organising Committee of UNSW AI Institute’s annual AI Symposium 2023 is pleased to invite submissions of posters in all areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning(ML) and Data Science(DS). We welcome submissions from UNSW researchers and the wider AI/ML/DS community, with the major themes of interest including, but not limited to:
- AI & Cybersecurity
- Role of AI in Scientific Discovery
- AI in Healthcare and Life Sciences
- AI Ethics and Fairness
- Law and Policy to ensure safe and responsible AI
- AI and the Environment
- Smart Cities and Urban AI
- Ethics and Privacy in Data Science
- Data Science for Societal Impact
- Interdisciplinary AI Collaborations
- AI in Defence Research and Development
- AI for the Future
- AI and Arts, Design & Creativity
- Business AI and AI in Economic Policy
The best poster presented will be awarded with $500 gift card with three runner-up each receiving $250 gift card. All accepted submissions will have the opportunity to present posters during networking sessions. If you wish to digitally display your project in a short video format, please put in the ‘Comment’ section.
Please note, the preferred size of poster is A0 in portrait orientation.
