With a Precinct campus workforce of 22,000 staff and 58,000+ students, there is a need to drive interprofessional education across our partnership - addressing both current and future educational needs of students, new graduates and healthcare professionals.
RHIP's Education Working Group has produced the Randwick Interprofessional Education Strategy (RIPE) - the first of its kind. This Strategy provides a framework for IPE implementation through a collaborative co-design process across our partnership. This strategy will integrate the latest evidence-based practice through interdisciplinary, cross-institutional collaboration.
Key pillars of the RIPE include:
- Lifelong learning
- Evidence-based practice
- Delivery through partnerships
- Person-centred care
- Innovative learning environment
- Shared educational systems and resources

You can get involved in some exciting interprofessional education opportunities coming soon to the Precinct. These will include pilot projects and interprofessional orientation programs.
