On June 4th & 11th, artist Claudia Nicholson presents her new animated artwork Oh. at Inglis Park. Oh. is a collaboration with the writer Enoch Mailangi and young artists from the Sydney Children’s Hospital School, and brings the world of a children’s picture book to life. The free sessions have been developed for young audiences 5-12 years and families/carers, and include a drop-in art workshop.
On June 18th & 25th, artistic duo Deep Soulful Sweats bring their genre-defying style of
participatory performance to the iconic Ritz Cinemas. Taking climate change as its theme, Cinema Piece combines live performance, film and audience participation, blurring the line between spectator and performer.
Heart of Randwick invited the respected curators Talia Linz and Vital Commons to select these works for Randwick. The Winter Wednesdays Art Series is proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Uptown District Acceleration Program. For event details and updates, sign up to the newsletter at heartofrandwick.com.
