Elizabeth Koff AM Precinct Board Chair

Elizabeth Koff AM 

Elizabeth is the Managing Director of Telstra Health, Australia’s largest digital health company. Prior to this Elizabeth had a long and distinguished career in the NSW health system, including Secretary, NSW Health for six years responsible for the largest health system in Australia with a $30 billion budget and 124,000 FTE. In 2020/2021 Elizabeth led the NSW Health system through the COVID-19 pandemic and advised NSW government crisis cabinet on the management of COVID-19 in NSW, and subsequent vaccination roll out.

Elizabeth was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to healthcare. She has been awarded Honorary doctorates from Western Sydney University, the University of Sydney and the University of NSW.

Tim Regan

Tim Regan

Tim is the Executive Director of the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct in Sydney.  Prior to this Tim held roles of Interim Chief Executive Officer of Melanoma Institute Australia, Chief Operating Officer of The George Institute for Global Health, Chief Operating Officer of ASX-listed Mirvac Group, Commercial Manager at Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

Tim is also a Non-executive Director of Menzies School of Health Research and Evolve Housing, and former National Treasurer of the Australia India Business Council and Committee Member of Australia China Business Council NSW.  Tim is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants ANZ, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Property Institute.

Vlado Perkovic

Professor Vlado Perkovic

Vlado is Provost of UNSW Sydney, having previously been Dean of Medicine & Health. He is a Professorial Fellow at The George Institute, Staff Specialist in Nephrology at the Royal North Shore Hospital, and global leader in kidney disease research advising on international clinical trials in kidney disease, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.  

Previously, Vlado held positions of President of AAMRI, Chairman of International Society of Nephrology Advancing Clinical Trials initiative, member of Australian Clinical Trials Alliance, member of Australasian Kidney Trials Network and Chair of AKTN Scientific Committee. He was previously a member of the NHMRC Health Translation Advisory Committee and appointed to the Editorial Board of the New England Journal of Medicine in 2017, the first Australian to receive this honour.

Zoe Terpening

Professor Zoe Terpening

Professor Zoe Terpening is the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Precincts at UNSW Sydney, where she leads the University’s Precinct and Greater Sydney Strategy. In this role she drives the development of high-impact precincts that enable research, education, industry collaboration and social benefit across NSW, including Health, Canberra City and Greater Sydney projects. Zoe has led the design and delivery of UNSW’s flagship health precincts – Randwick, Liverpool and the Murrumbidgee – supporting more than $500 million in investment and catalysing collaboration across government, academia, healthcare and industry.

A clinician and academic by training, Zoe holds a Doctorate of Clinical Neuropsychology, a Master of Science and a Master of Health Management, with research interests in healthy brain ageing and dementia.

Prof Cheryl Jones

Professor Cheryl Jones, MBBS (Hons) PhD FRACP FAHMS

Cheryl is the Dean of the UNSW Faculty of Medicine and Health, a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Physician and an internationally recognised clinician scientist. Her research in emerging infections of the brain and childhood infections has changed global policy and practice. She has obtained over $35 million in research funding and published over 180 articles.

Cheryl is also a Director of the AMC, AAHMS, Victor Chang CRI, NeuRA, BDI, CCI, Mindgardens Neuroscience Network, and the Ramsay Health Research Foundation. She has held executive roles in multiple national statutory authorities, professional societies (RACP, ASID, MDANZ), and international research societies and NGOs (WHO expert consultations). Cheryl was made a life member of the Australian Society for Infectious Diseases in 2022 and was made a Fellow of the AAHMS in 2018. 

Cathryn Cox

Adjunct Associate Professor Cathryn Cox PSM

Cathryn is the Chief Executive of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, one of Australia’s largest and most complex paediatric health services, and a highly experienced NSW Health executive with a career spanning health policy, planning, infrastructure, service development and large‑scale system reform.

Beginning her career as a physiotherapist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Cathryn has remained deeply committed to patient‑centred care and to building health systems that deliver outcomes that matter to children, young people and their families. Cathryn is proud of the role of The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network in providing world-class patient-centred care for children and young people and their families, as well as ground-breaking health research and its translation into clinical practice.

Bart Cavalletto

Bart Cavalletto

Bart is the Director of Strategy and Innovation at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network. He brings more than three decades of leadership experience across health, disability and education, with a strong focus on service improvement and innovation.  Bart is recognised as a values‑driven leader committed to building sustainable, innovative healthcare systems that improve outcomes for children and families.

Previously, Bart was Director, Services at NextSense (formerly Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children) where he led national service delivery and development. His extensive NSW Health career includes senior clinical, managerial and executive roles at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney Hospital and in the NSW Ministry of Health, overseeing statewide portfolios spanning strategy, planning, policy, funding, health technology and innovation. 

Dr Greg Levenston OAM

Dr Gregory Levenston OAM

Greg is the Chair of the Board of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, one of the largest local health districts in Sydney covering 468 square km and delivering health care to 930,000 residents. He has served as the Medical Director at Bronte Medical Centre and has a special interest in men's health and paediatrics. Greg is also a member of the SESLHD Quality, Safety and Cultural Committee and has also served on the Board of Variety, the Children's Charity NSW/ACT, including as Chair.

Greg is a former Grand Master of Freemasonry NSW/ACT and a member of the Board of Patrons for the Freemasons Foundation for Men's Health at Adelaide University. He previously served as Deputy Mayor of Woollahra Municipal Council.

Leisa Rathborne

Leisa Rathborne

Leisa is the Chief Executive of the South Eastern Local Health District with more than 30 years’ leadership across metropolitan health services, including significant experience senior executive roles at St George Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women, leading complex clinical and corporate operations and driving improvements in safety, quality and access to care.  

Previously, Leisa held senior leadership roles within Health Infrastructure, partnering with Local Health Districts and clinicians to deliver major hospital redevelopments that support contemporary models of care and workforce sustainability. Commencing her career as a physiotherapist, Leisa brings a strong patient-centred perspective to executive leadership. She holds postgraduate qualifications in health management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
